Your role - Performance Marketing Specialist

The Performance Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing, developing and implementing industry leading performance marketing campaigns and strategies to support Hireup’s customer acquisition and retention goals. This involves setting-up, monitoring and optimising campaigns across Paid Search (Google & Bing Ads), Display and YouTube. You’ll be responsible for monitoring spend, forecasting budgets, providing regular reports and supporting the Digital Marketing Lead and Growth Marketing team.

Reporting into our Digital Marketing Lead, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement SEM, Display & YouTube campaigns
  • Maintain and monitor bids, budgets and key performance metrics
  • Analyse large data sets through analytics tools to highlight optimisation opportunities
  • Provide regular campaign maintenance and reports
  • Create performance monitoring dashboards
  • Forecast channel performance and spend
  • Implement relevant audience targeting and customer segmentation
  • Present ongoing evaluations concerning effectiveness of implemented strategies
  • Propose and implement a/b tests in order to improve performance and drive continuous optimisation
  • Set up conversion tracking and pixels using Google Tag Manager
  • Set up campaign tracking codes and UTMs
  • Proactively explore and highlight potential opportunities across new channels
  • Billing and IO management

Your Background

  • Strong understanding and proven record of success within performance marketing and its platforms including but not limited to Google & Bing, Video, and Display
  • Enjoy being hands on, with experience in building and optimising campaigns as well as analysing large amounts of data
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Experience working with analytics, including A/B testing
  • 3+ years experience within search / digital / performance media
  • Extensive hands on experience; client or agency
  • Google Professional Accreditation (Adwords, Mobile, Video)
  • Bing Accreditation desired but not essential
  • Experience setting up conversion tracking
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exposure to Facebook Power Editor, Tableau and Google Big Query is desired but not essential
