ABOUT HIGHWAY FOUNDATION

We are looking for someone very special to help us build on our incredible growth as an innovative new youth charity. We need someone who can now help us meet our overwhelming demand. As the Onboarding Manager, you’ll be working with our Highway Youth Facilitators and assisting participants in Highway programs to help clarify their direction in life.

We’re Highway - an innovative youth charity based in Melbourne working to meet young people where they’re at and help them figure out what they want for themselves. Our Highway Youth Facilitators help young people across Australia find belonging and work towards their most authentic selves through transformational group sessions and workshops held online and face-to-face.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Onboarding Manager, you will ensure the following:

• Consulting and then scheduling participants into the right Highway Program that would best work for them.
• Scheduling, confirming and following up with participants and Highway Youth Facilitators.
• Managing the training, engagement, events and quality assurance of Highway Youth Facilitators.
• Providing key reports of Operations and Engagement performance.
• Creating and implementing innovative participant retention strategies.

About you

You’ll be the first point of call for our Highway Youth Facilitators and participants, so we’re looking for someone very special.

• Focused on incredible service experience at Highway for Highway Youth Facilitators and our participants.
• You are engaging, warm, and inviting and feel comfortable talking on the phone (especially with 18 – 25-year-olds)
• You have a keen attention to detail with fast follow-up and take initiative.
• Trustworthy and can work to deadlines and work alone.
• Able to deal with difficult conversations and complaints.
• You are persistent and resilient to make sure operations runs smoothly.
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure.
• Melbourne-based. You will be required to work 2 days a week from the office and 3 days from home.

This role will be 6 hours per day/5 days a week (30 hours/week).
