I am looking for 2-3 exceptional support workers, to start immediately in casual positions for 2-4 hours per week, to assist me to develop a better life. I need support and encouragement to be more active and interested in life and to extend my connections in the local community.
I am a 47 year old man with Down syndrome and I live in Collingwood in my own flat. At the moment my interests are limited to watching DVD’s and searching the net although I have done many other things in the past – including playing harmonica in a band.
The support roles are vital for me to be able to stay in my own home and to help me become more involved in things that interest me. The support workers also need to be prepared to do some general cleaning/tidying and simple cooking with me.

It would be great if you are interested in music and films (DVDs) and are good at using a computer! You will need a current drivers licence and access to a car with comprehensive car insurance.
