About the Role
The Fundraising and Events Coordinator is responsible for generating revenue through community fundraising activities and events, including executing national campaigns at local level, maintaining and nurturing existing and building new donor, volunteer and community relationships.
You will be integral to ensuring maximised fundraising outcomes and best practice event delivery.
You will enjoy great variety in your daily tasks, coordinating events and fundraising activities, where you will utilise your skills in stakeholder and engagement management.

Experience and Knowledge
- 2-3 years' experience in events or community fundraising coordination/delivery
- Demonstrated success in broad community fundraising, events, marketing and communications with a track record of achieving revenue targets within the not-for-profit and/or charities sector
- Ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential sponsors and at events when needed
- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with proven ability to establish and nurture relationships
- Experience working with volunteers across events and fundraising campaigns
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a team
- Intermediate competency in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience in social media and developing / executing communication plans
Highly regarded
- Prior involvement in supporter journey planning, fundraising campaigns, and collateral creation.
- Experience gained within a For Purpose organisation.
