Healthy Mind Solutions (HMS) is a multidisciplinary practice, newly established and based in Shepparton, Victoria. We focus on providing a comprehensive healthcare service to patients of all ages who are suffering from mental illness and indicated disorders and conditions, including NDIS participants.
To support this we’re extending our team of allied health clinicians, psychiatrists and nurses. We collaborate and focus on quality service, ensuring our patients have access to a wide range of complementary services from the one location, and are provided with streamlined treatment, convenience and comfort.
Our clinical director is a highly regarded and experienced psychiatrist, dedicated to using technologically advanced and evidence-based treatments to achieve improved clinical outcomes for all patients.
We’re seeking experienced an accredited mental health social worker to join the HMS team. You’ll bring a drive to achieve patient results, a flexible can-do approach and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
This role provides a great deal of flexibility for the right person, including part-time and full-time options, a blend of working onsite and in the community, and telehealth consultations where clinically appropriate.
You’ll join a practice with a truly patient-centred model of care, treating all patients and participants with dignity and respect, providing them with a range of solution-focused treatment options, and involving them in all decisions about their health and wellbeing.
The role includes provision of evidence-based treatment and care to patients and participants of all ages. This will include assessments, therapy and management of a range of presentations, mental disorders and conditions. You’ll be well supported to provide high quality and efficient service and support, and to extend your skills, experience and knowledge, including of the latest technological treatment innovations.

To launch successfully into this role, you’ll ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ mental health social work experience. A certificate of accreditation – AMHSW - and current membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers plus professional indemnity insurance, are a must, as are a current driver’s licence and your own transport.
You’re a team player, working effectively with both clinical and admin colleagues, and possess great time management skills. Proficiency in the Office/Office 365 suite will also stand you in good stead, as will experience with medical software used in private practice.
