Podiatrist - Boyne Island

Health Workforce Queensland
  • New Grad or Experienced

Health Workforce Queensland is a not for profit, non-Government Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) for primary health workforce in Queensland, focused on making sure remote, rural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities have access to highly skilled health professionals when and where they need them, now and into the future.

Our Vision is to ensure an optimal health workforce to enhance the health of Queensland communities.

Practice Information:

This podiatry clinic is a private clinic in beautiful Boyne Island. You will find an interesting and varied caseload with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in all areas. Their locally owned and operated clinic opened at the beginning of 2018 and currently employs four Podiatrists. They operate in modern clinic supported by in-store footwear sales and 3D orthotic scanning and utilise close referral ties to our local Physios and GPs.

They offer a full scope of Podiatry services including custom supra malleolar devices, nail surgery, DVA/NDIS/GPMP, doppler ABI/TBI, video gait assessment and 3D scanning for orthotic prescription. As a result of their location (and a high proportion of young families in the area) and a large sporting community, we see a larger volume of paediatric patients. The clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.30-5pm and Wednesday 10-6.30pm

About Boyne Island:
