Health Workforce Queensland is a not for profit, non-Government Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) for primary health workforce in Queensland, focused on making sure remote, rural, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities have access to highly skilled health professionals when and where they need them, now and into the future.

This clinic is an award-winning practice passionate about creating equality of health care no matter the geographic location, culture, or perceived barrier. They are a multidisciplinary allied health business offering services from their clinics in Dalby & Toowoomba. The clinic also offers its services to outreach locations from these practices.
This clinic is currently expanding its team of allied health professionals and is seeking a fun, motivated Occupational Therapist to join in their Dalby clinic. This role will support their outreach locations and may include some travel.

Dalby is situated on the rich soils of the Darling Downs, it is just 211 km North West of Brisbane and is at the crossroads to Toowoomba, Kingaroy, Roma, Mundubbera and Goondiwindi. Being so close to Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts makes a visit to rural Australia an easy drive. The Dalby region is a vibrant "go ahead" rural community with a town population of approximately 12,000 with a further 5,000 residing in the rural district. As well as large coal and gas fired power stations, it has the largest grain receivable depot in Queensland, the largest one day livestock market in Australia and has one of the largest regional industrial and agricultural manufacturing sectors. Dalby and the surrounding Western Downs Shire is at the centre of rich coal and natural gas reserves which underpin the power generation industry for SE Qld. The region is renowned as a rich agricultural area, growing crops such as cotton, sorghum, wheat, barley, sunflowers, chickpeas, mung beans and corn, as well as the production of lamb, beef and pork. Diversification into the fish, hemp and native flower markets has occurred in recent times.
