As Australia’s peak national organisation for the community HIV and LGBTIQA+ health response, Health Equity Matters supports member organisations working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities, people living with HIV, sex workers, people who use drugs, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Through advocacy, policy, and health promotion it leads Australia’s effort to end HIV transmission and promote the health of its communities.
In the Asia Pacific region, Health Equity Matters uses the same strengths to promote effective policy, strengthen local community leadership, and support communities in their work in HIV, health, and human rights.
The SKPA-2 program is a multi-country initiative supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, focused on strengthening the sustainability of HIV responses for key populations in Asia.
Currently, the program is implemented across Malaysia, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, working in partnership with national HIV programs and community-led organisations. It supports activities across HIV prevention, community systems strengthening, and enabling environments.
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Programs Officer to provide administrative, coordination, and program support across the SKPA-2 program.
The role supports day-to-day implementation, coordination with subrecipients and partners, and internal program processes, while also taking responsibility for specific tasks and discrete activities to support overall program delivery, as required.
