The role:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Speech Pathologist to join our team in Melbourne!

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of clients and helping them to achieve their goals.

A typical day usually starts with a few clients in the morning. Through the middle of the day, we ensure there's sufficient time for planning, report-writing, mentoring, case-conferencing, team activities, dedicated “own” time or occasionally school or pre-school visits. We then finish the day with a few after-school clients.

We aren’t your typical Allied Health Practice. Healing Hands Support Network was founded based on a need for more heart-centred support services to those living with disability and their families.

Founded by a Speech Pathologist, Healing Hands Support Network already has an amazing team of heart-centred support workers working on the ground with NDIS participants and we are now ready to add an amazing heart-centred Speech Pathologist to the team!

You will be our first Allied Health practitioner and will pave the way for future superstars to join the amazing team!

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with Speech Pathology Australia registration
  • At least 1-2 years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist
  • Your own car and current drivers licence
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with children and their parents
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent organisational & time management skills
