Tell me about the role

This newly created position will:

• Support research activity across the headspace initiative as directed by the Chief Scientific Advisor.
• Maintain the headspace Research Register.
• Lead development of practical and efficient research management processes.
• Ensure all headspace National research projects and partnerships are covered by appropriate research and data agreements.
• Contribute to ensuring ethical and appropriate access to the headspace service network and headspace data for research purposes.
• Prepare high quality reports and provide easily comprehended information and advice to headspace executive and management to keep them informed of the nature of headspace research activity.
• Contribute to the development of research publications and reports.

Who we're looking for

• Post graduate research degree level qualifications in social or behavioural sciences, health sciences or other relevant discipline with a strong applied research component.
• Expertise in research methods and research ethics.
• Demonstrated understanding of data privacy and security issues.
• Expertise in research-related applications, including endnote and SPSS.
• Understanding of research management systems.
