headspace is a service delivery partner for the beyondblue Be You initiative. The Be You program provides online training and resources, backed by 70 expert staff on the ground, to support busy principals, teachers and early learning professionals to nurture the mental health and wellbeing of young people and their families. An exciting role exists for an energetic, clinically qualified mental health professional to support schools through the implementation of the “Be You” Service. headspace, as the implementation partner, will work with beyondblue to deliver an interactive framework of evidenced-based information, professional advice and support to primary and secondary schools. The Be You Service through continuous professional development of educators will promote optimal social and emotional health and wellness in schools.
headspace is seeking an engaging individual who is experienced in the provision of youth mental health care, including risk assessment, and delivering clinical or advisory services to schools. Your highly developed communication skills will allow you to effectively deliver education and training packages and you will demonstrate the ability to engage, liaise and interact with a broad range of stakeholders across the national health and education sectors. Your empathetic style will enable you to effectively engage with families and other networks in the care of young people. This role primarily supports teachers, leaders and schools rather than providing direct clinical services to young people
This role requires intra-state and inter-state travel. In return, we offer a generous car allowance, as well as a flexible and dynamic work environment where you have the opportunity to truly make a difference to young Australians.

This role is being offered until 30 June 2021 in line with our current funding arrangement.
