About the role

This exciting and diverse position reports to the Executive Director of People and Culture and leads the People Services function by ensuring headspace meets compliance, legislative and contractual obligations.

Working collaboratively with the wider People & Culture team, the Manager People Services will help set standards and ensure that other functions meet organisational wide standards, compliance obligations and other due diligence and governance responsibilities as required.

The Manager People Services will:

  • Oversee regulatory compliance and organisational reporting requirements in relation to employee credentialing.
  • Hold responsibility for the accurate execution of HR documentation, including maintenance of HR records within Technology One and HR personnel file.
  • Provide supervision and leadership to the Senior HR & Compliance Officer.
  • Work closely with the Manager HR Business Partnering and the headspace Payroll team to ensure timely and seamless completion of HR and Payroll transactions via Technology One.
  • Work closely with the HR Business Partnering team to deliver seamless and high-quality HR services, advice and support to candidates, employees and managers.

Who we're looking for

headspace is seeking an experienced HR leader who has strong compliance and reporting skills as well as:

  • Experience in managing and supporting a HR shared services team to deliver accurate, efficient, and compliant HR services.
  • Demonstrated experience in upholding, compliance, legislative and contractual obligations.
  • Experience in the system administration of a HR Information System.
  • Proven success as a senior HR leader providing general HR services to senior management and all staff levels in a service delivery environment.
  • Ability to lead change and develop sustainable relationships within headspace.
  • Good understanding across all areas of a HR service and system review.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills and sound business acumen.
  • Proven written and verbal communication, negotiation, project management, training and coaching skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources; Business; Management or a related business discipline would be an advantage.
