What is headspace National

About the role
This exciting and diverse position is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tendering and providing insightful analysis and up-to-date financial information to key stakeholder groups for headspace and is directly accountable to the Financial Controller.
In addition, the position will consult directly with all headspace program areas as required. A focus of the role will be to collaborate closely with the Financial Controller assisting in process improvements across the whole finance area.
Who we're looking for
A highly experienced management accountant professional with a strong drive for all things finance. A willingness to work collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment is essential in this complex environment. You will have:
- Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce or equivalent.
- Proven experience of 6-8 years in a similar role.
- Communication skills appropriate for various audiences with differing degrees of financial knowledge.
- Advanced skills in Excel with strong knowledge of writing queries and integrating with other systems.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
- An ability to think broadly and take a whole of organisation view.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member.
- Willing to learn, assist and be able to see tasks through at varying levels.
- Strong grasp of financial accounting and the ability to understand and drill down through relevant financial reports.
- Experience of working with a large ERP system preferably TechnologyOne
