Established in 2006, headspace is a well-recognised, national not-for-profit organisation making a difference to the lives of young people aged 12-25 years. We offer multiple programs and services across headspace Centres, national telehealth services, eheadspace, vocational training, headspace schools and early psychosis.

Tell me about the role

Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategy, Impact and Policy, the Head of Strategy and Policy will work closely with leaders across headspace to: develop and implement effective, high impact strategy; provide high quality, influential policy advice to Australian governments to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people across the nation; and develop and support government relations strategies. What we're looking for

You will have demonstrated experience in strategy development and implementation, and/or policy and government engagement.

Your exceptional insight, leadership, communication and relationship skills will allow you to effectively engage senior headspace leaders, staff, young people, governments and stakeholders across the mental health sector to formulate and implement strategic directions, and provide well-informed, high quality policy advice.
