About the role

The Digital Marketing and Social Media Advisor is responsible for supporting and executing digital marketing and social media strategies. This includes developing, coordinating and moderating digital content and communications to enhance audience and reach, strengthen brand awareness and advocacy, and drive growth across digital platforms.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this position will:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activity of digital communication platforms including social media channels and website administration
  • Manage organic social media content and coordinate the cross-functional social content calendar
  • Collaborate with external agency partners and internal teams to ensure alignment with organisational goals and audience interests and needs
  • Monitor social media channels daily, responding promptly to audience interactions and fostering community engagement
  • Update the headspace website CMS and act as a subject matter expert in areas such as website UX and SEO
  • Regularly analyse and report on digital marketing activity.

Who we're looking for

headspace is seeking a proactive, agile and innovative person with:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, media, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience in a related field
  • Working knowledge of digital and social media channels
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating social media channels
  • Experience working with website content management systems
  • Experience with social listening and moderating online community management
  • Experience in the collection and analysis of data with digital tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, to prioritise work requirements, work autonomously when appropriate, consult appropriately and respond to direction in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated high level initiative and problem-solving capability.
