About the role

As a member of the eheadspace leadership team, the eheadspace Clinical Coordinator is responsible for clinical leadership and line management of eheadspace clinicians. The Clinical Coordinator contributes to the development of the strategic directives of eheadspace while maintaining responsibility for the coordination, management, and oversight of shift activities.

The roster for this role is 0.8 FTE working the following shifts:

Week1:

Monday 10am - 6pm

Wednesday 10am - 6pm (in office for hybrid)

Thursday 2:30pm - 10:30pm  -penalty shift 115%

Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm - penalty shift 150%

Week 2:

Monday 10am - 6pm  

Wednesday 10am - 6pm (in office for hybrid)  

Thursday 2:30pm - 10:30pm - penalty shift 115%

Friday 10am - 6pm  

  • Shift start and end times AEST and Daylight Savings Time
  • Melbourne or Brisbane based - 1 day office
  • Other States - Travel to Melbourne required as directed

Who we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic clinical leader with tertiary allied health qualifications and knowledge in the assessment and treatment of mental health and other related issues for young people, in one of the following areas - Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Clinical or Counselling Psychology or a Masters in Counselling. Additionally, candidates will have an advanced level of clinical skills, with experience in clinical supervision and line management. We are looking for someone who puts young people and families at the centre of everything we do, who has a commitment to continuous quality improvement, and shares our values- agility, excellence, collaboration and inclusion.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Advanced level of clinical skills within (youth) mental health and demonstrated knowledge or experience with complex mental health presentations in young people.
  • Highly experienced in providing clinical supervision and team leadership.
  • Experience in performance management, supporting clinical staff and their professional development.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with a diverse range of people, including young people, health professionals, academic researchers, service providers, etc.
  • Ability to work in a highly productive environment with time pressures while managing multiple tasks

  • Salary range of $102,000 - $111,000 pro rata, dependant on years of experience and qualifications
  • Hybrid work environment where you can work from home and in the Melbourne/Brisbane CBD office or remotely if working from other locations in Australia.
