Your new role

Working as a Psychologist you will be contributing to the health and wellbeing of the men and woman working for Defence who serve our country. In your role you will be a part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, providing high quality, clinical services to eligible clients. Your key accountabilities will be intake and risk assessments, crisis intervention, creating treatment plans, case management, care coordination and group psycho-education.

This is a Full Time position based in Canberra.

What you'll need to succeed

As the successful candidate you'll be an experienced Psychologist with:

  • Minimum 2 years full time equivalent post graduate experience in the last 5 years within a specialist mental health setting.
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Australian Citizen
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001) certification or willing to obtain
  • It is desirable that you have experience working with defence force personnel and have an understanding of ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy
