The Haymarket Foundation exists to provide opportunities to people who have been marginalised by society. We understand that the people we work with come from a background of complex trauma, and we use this understanding to advocate and deliver multidisciplinary services that are inclusive, safe, and offer freedom of choice.
Haymarket Foundation’s Bourke Street Program is a nine-month community based residential rehabilitation program with a living-skills focus that has supported men in the Inner Sydney area for the past 30 years.
We are currently seeking an energetic, flexible, enthusiastic individual to join our team as an AOD Case Worker in the Bourke Street Program (BSP).
The role of the AOD Case Worker is to ensure the Haymarket Foundation provides the best possible supported rehabilitation and recovery program to men with a history of drug dependence, with a focus on physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The successful candidate will provide holistic case management, facilitating group therapy sessions and living skills programs while promoting self-advocacy in a strengths based practice.
Haymarket Foundation provides its team with attractive salary sacrifice conditions, opportunities for training, ongoing clinical supervision and a positive team culture. This fulltime role (76 hours a fortnight) reports to the Manager of the Foundation’s AOD programs and has salary and conditions as per Grade 4 of the SCHCADS Award.
Please note the Haymarket Foundation is an equal opportunity employer, anyone who meets the above criteria will be considered for this role. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, people from CALD backgrounds and LGBTIQ communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
