Cooking Small Eating Well Coordinator

The Cooking Small Eating Well Program (CSEW) is for older people and people with disabilities who are interested in learning to cook small portion healthy meals for themselves. There is a Community Kitchen program which is a hands on cooking program for adults with a disability and a Kitchen Demo which is a fortnightly demonstration cooking program for older adults. Programs are held on Mondays and Tuesdays during school terms.

We are looking for a qualified Nutritionist or Dietitian to run this hands on program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and delivering weekly cooking sessions in line with CSEW guidelines and in response to participant feedback
  • Preparing program/recipes for each session
  • Purchasing ingredients and other necessary preparation for each session
  • Food Safety Supervisor responsibilities
  • Recruiting and supporting volunteers as required

The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition or Dietetics
  • A love of cooking and sharing recipes
  • Experience working with people with a disability
  • Excellent IT skills
