GAC represents the Banjima, Yinhawangka and Nyiyaparli people of the Pilbara region in Western Australia. GAC was established in 1996 following negotiations with Hamersley Iron Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Rio Tinto, to advocate for the collective interests of the Traditional Owners.
We are a membership-based organisation and serve around 2,000 Members across Western Australia, Australia and the world.

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the team in our Perth Office on a 12-month Fixed Contract (with the possibility of extension).
You will primarily be supporting the Finance Manager and/or delegate in the preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records, budgets and financial statements; as well as performing bank reconciliations, month-end journal postings and preparation of balance sheets.
