Position Purpose:
To provide administration, configuration, and maintenance for Salesforce Not For Profit Experience Cloud, Zoom, Orrto, Google Workplace, and other applications, including user onboarding, permission management, system upgrades, and maintenance.
To collaboratively analyse business requirements and shape Salesforce development within a structured change management process and support complex Salesforce developments and integrations and assist with testing and release processes.
Key Objectives and Accountabilities
- Serve as primary system administrator and provide technical support for the organisation’s Salesforce environment with c.20 users.The full range of administrative tasks, include user account maintenance, system configuration, creating and maintaining reports and dashboards, creating and maintaining workflows.
- Support the training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organisation
- Support and train specific frontline technical support and secondary administrators to handle some basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
- Create & maintain up to date system set up documentation for maintenance, resiliency & business continuity purposes.
- Complete regular internal system audits, including monitoring cloud storage usage and security, preparing for upgrades, staying ahead of vendor development cycles.
- Develop and implement internal processes to coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests to Salesforce Partner and working with the team to prioritise and release these change requests.
- Translate business process requirements into workable system solutions (system fields management, automation, workflows & validation rules, etc)
- Manage large data sets, ensuring accuracy and de-duplication of records and ensuring adherence to information security and Privacy policies.
- Ensure seamless customer journeys via our web-based applications
- Support the integration of Salesforce with other cloud based systems used by the organisation
- Manage third party suppliers and contracts
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Certified as Salesforce Administrator with minimum two years of experience post certification
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices, functionality and releases
- Strong technical and data management abilities,
- A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements and apply change control
- Experience of working at pace, within a multi-disciplined agile team
- Experience of working in multidisciplinary business teams
- Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
Desired Knowledge and Skills
- Developer experience with SalesForce (Apex, Force.com, APIs, Web Services)
- Experience or knowledge of ISO27001
- Experience in a non for profit organisation
