Role Purpose

The NILs Network State Manager (VIC & TAS) will play a crucial role in driving impact through our innovative networked approaches for financial wellbeing through microfinance and related services and support.

The role will support the Senior Manager and work closely with Client Services, Good Shepherd Institute, and peers in Ecosystem Enablement Group, to support and strengthen the strategic development and implementation of social sector, corporate, government and community service partnerships and alliances.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the primary relationship manager for the Victorian and Tasmanian NILs network Client Service Providers.
  • Provide leadership to, and collaborate with, colleagues from across GSANZ to develop and implement a strategy and operating plan for Victoria and Tasmania, which aims to Increase the number of people accessing NILs across the States.
  • Monitor program progress and performance against established targets, identifying and supporting community providers to address any issues or obstacles that may arise
  • Work with the community organisations to improve operational effectiveness and to implement appropriate service design models, structures, operational capability and practices
  • Leverage data analysis, research findings, and emerging trends to inform service and partnership design and development

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in areas such as community development, social work, health, education  
  • Relevant stakeholder or partnership management experience in the community sector  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to travel to programs and sites across the state   
  • Experience with P&L management, contract management, and working within tight regulatory and compliance environments
