About the Role
Reporting to the Manager – HR Operations, the Human Resources Coordinator will play a key role in the delivery of people-focused HR services and systems support. You will be responsible for streamlining HR workflows, supporting recruitment processes, managing data and reporting, and contributing to systems improvements across our HRIS (UKG). This is a fast-paced, varied role requiring a proactive and service-oriented approach.
A typical day includes a mix of tasks including:
- Provide frontline support on HR system queries and maintain employee data integrity.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment administration including job ads, screening, interviews and compliance checks.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Support system testing, documentation, and the development of user-friendly guides.
- Produce high-quality reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and support leaders.
- Maintain employment records and ensure audit readiness across HR processes.
- Work collaboratively across HR, Payroll and leaders to deliver responsive and best practice services.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in HR systems administration and recruitment coordination.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written communication and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI desirable).
- A commitment to our values of reconciliation, justice, audacity, zeal and respect for every person.
Desirable
- Experience in a not-for-profit or community services setting.
- Understanding of employment legislation, awards or enterprise agreements.
- Experience in payroll administration or supporting compliance functions.

- A current Employee Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Proof of right to work in Australia
- Ability to attend our Melbourne CBD office at least four days per week
