About the Role

Join Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (GSANZ) in a newly created leadership role driving national innovation and impact in financial wellbeing. As General Manager – National Financial Health & Wellbeing Platforms, you will lead the design, delivery and evolution of services that improve financial security and disrupt disadvantage for women, children and families. This is a critical senior leadership role within our Ecosystem Enablement Group, delivering on GSANZ’s bold 2023–2027 Strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead national strategy and service delivery for financial health and wellbeing platforms
  • Design and implement programs that foster financial capability, resilience and employment pathways
  • Build and sustain strategic partnerships with government, corporate and community sectors
  • Champion innovation that addresses intergenerational disadvantage
  • Lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams across multiple programs and locations
  • Represent Good Shepherd in national forums and sector engagement initiatives

Key Selection Criteria

  • Proven strategic leadership experience in financial wellbeing or social services sectors
  • Strong track record of designing and scaling complex services and partnerships
  • Deep knowledge of financial capability ecosystems and emerging sector trends
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, including budget management and reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across diverse sectors
  • Values-led, collaborative and purpose-driven approach to leadership

About You

  • Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. social work, finance, community development)
  • 5+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally in complex, integrated service environments
  • Experience working with or within government, corporate, or social sector partnerships
  • Innovative thinker with strong data, policy and ecosystem understanding
  • Strong people leader with demonstrated experience navigating change and complexity
