Position Purpose

Collaboratively develop and manage the Good Sammy marketing and branding strategy in all forums, including online, establishing Good Sammy as an industry leader and driving our organisational purpose:

Key Accountablities

  • In consultation with the Chief Customer Officer, develop a marketing strategy that brings our Good Sammy values and purpose to life, and supports the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives.
  • Develop and manage all marketing for the organisation and coordinate all activities within the marketing function.
  • Be responsible for brand management and corporate identity.
  • Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future opportunities.
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information.
  • Identify and understand the customer and client journey to implement strategies to improve customer/client experience.
  • Coordinating marketing campaigns and content creation.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Expand and develop marketing platforms including digital and social media platforms.
  • Experience in a digital marketing and good knowledge of core digital marketing principles - either client or agency side; ideally in the charity sector.
  • Experience using Google Analytics to monitor website performance and can confidently suggest actionable insight from reports.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
  • Ability to design and create signage, banners and point of sale.

Selection Competencies

  • Bachelor Degree (or higher) preferably in Marketing or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing a CRM System.
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Strong project management skills
  • Contemporary and hands on digital marketing skills
  • Creative design skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative style, with an ability to engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
