About us

The Global Cooksafe Coalition (GCC) is an exciting new coalition of experts committed to the electrification of cooking in all buildings in OECD countries by 2040 and worldwide by 2045. Launched in Australia in November 2022, the GCC already represents major global property companies, leaders in health, aid and development, climate change and renewable energy, and celebrity chefs committed to electrifying cooking culture. Our chef program involves organising the chef community rather than using purely an ‘influencer’ approach.

About you:

• You have extensive experience working in or around cooking, chefs or associated industries, (media and/or events) and have delivered projects with significant impacts.
• You are passionate about food, food culture, and have existing connections in the industry in the UK or Europe.
• You have experience working with communications and media, or PR agency / Talent agency experience, and know how to work with colleagues on earned and digital media.
• You show initiative and take responsibility for leading your work, and coordinate well with a diverse team of leaders.
• The ability and experience to manage events is desirable but not essential.

Timing:

• From January-April, with possibility of extension to a one year contract.

Location:

• Flexible, preference for Europe or US, with some need for travel.
