Position Overview

One of Giving Connects’ key clients is Living Ripples.

Living Ripples is a proven three-year process to empower, support and connect Australian primary and secondary schools so they can confidently build student resilience and wellbeing. This practical process enables all primary and secondary schools to survey their students, staff and parents and carers and act on their comprehensive findings.

The program, established in 2021 and is now in its third iteration and supporting over 110 schools nationally. It is funded by The Phillips Foundation.

In this role, you will support the implementation of the deliverables, detailed in the 2025 Business Plan, fundamental to the growth, development and sustainability of the Living Ripples program.

The core functions include providing support to key clients (schools), coordinating program suppliers and partners, managing CRM data and reporting, and assisting with marketing, strategic planning and governance activities. This is a dynamic and collaborative role that requires excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, and a passion for youth wellbeing and education.

Key Area 1: Act as Program Lead including coordination of clients (schools) and key suppliers.

Related Tasks

  • Support with implementation of the deliverables, detailed in the 2025 Business Plan
  • Ensure all schools registered are participating in accordance with the Living Ripples process.
  • Working with schools/ geographic or other connections to support Living Ripples communities/ participating schools.
  • Develop and maintain close and regular communication and engagement with the key program supplier
  • Assisting all aspects of the Student Wellbeing Action Grant applications including evaluations and reporting.
  • Act as primary point of contact for NFP partner opportunities and progress onboarding
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained within the CRM and correlate with data managed by the key supplier.
  • Provide support to the Living Ripples Community of Practice Manager

Key Area 2: Provide program tracking and reporting capabilities to support ongoing development.

Related Tasks

  • Document and record individual school progress and recommendations within the Monday CRM and project management tool
  • Distil and provide insights, findings, issues and opportunities for Living Ripples schools for the Living Ripples team and ongoing development of the program.
  • Attend monthly operations meetings, record minutes and actions and distribute to all stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of quarterly Board Meeting reports
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Key Area 3: Support marketing and communications activities for the program to increase awareness and uptake.

Related Tasks

  • Help build community awareness of Living Ripples nationally
  • Continuously monitor and improve website, with the assistance of the Living Ripples designer/website editor
  • Support with content development for On the Pond newsletter publication and distribution as required
  • Support with Cluster based activities
  • Support with marketing activities including the Flourish podcast sponsorship
  • Manage social media content creation and posting as required

Key Area 4: Provide support on strategic and governance related activities for Living Ripples.

Related Tasks

  • Contribute to development of the Living Ripples annual business plan and budget; and monitor performance
  • Assist with identifying areas for improvement in program management and administrative processes and proposing / documenting solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide support to the Giving Connect Group Advisor and Company Secretary as they each require.

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in project coordination and client management.
  • Experience in education, youth work or student services.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving challenges.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel and Canva. Demonstrated familiarity with Monday.com CRM and project management tools and Smartsheets is a bonus.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must have an ABN
