About the Role

Girl Guides Victoria is looking for someone with property management experience to join our team and provide support and practical advice to property management teams and contacts across Victoria including:

Key responsibilities:

  • Property lease arrangements including interpreting documentation
  •  Collaborative problem solving for complex property matters
  • Providing advice and guidance in accordance with Girl Guides Victoria policies
  • Lead the annual building and contents insurance renewal process
  • Arrange regular and ad hoc maintenance for properties including the scheduling of annual essential safety checks
  • Conduct risk management through identification and escalation of property-related risks
  • Undertake projects to enhance the management of Girl Guides properties
  • Work cohesively with our volunteer campsite committee teams on safety, maintenance planning and activities.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking a proactive, organised and credible professional with 3–5 years experience in facilities or property management. You will have:

  • Ability to prioritise and achieve identified priorities
  • Proven experience in end-to-end Property Management
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders including volunteers
  • Planning and organisational skills to systematically track progress on property matters
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process, system, and structural improvements
  • Taking the lead in analysing and improving current practices and processes
  • Current driver's licence
