We are seeking an experienced Family Violence Practitioner to step into our Specialist Family Violence Senior Practitioner role within our new The Orange Door Werribee hub!

The salary for this role is a SHADS Level 6 (between $102,546.08 to $107,074.24 plus superannuation) and is available on either a full time or part time (0.9 EFT) basis.

This role provides a specialist first point of contact for those experiencing family violence, those choosing to use violence and assessment of child and wellbeing needs.

As a first point of contact our staff provide a client centred, timely response which may take the form of family violence risk assessments, safety planning, child wellbeing assessments, brief intervention, and provision of referral pathways. In addition, mentoring Practitioners and providing secondary consultation to professional services.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• At least 2 years family violence experience
• Previous experience working in The Orange Door (highly desirable)
• Able to manage competing priorities within a fast paced role
