We are seeking a Client Service Administration Coordinator within our Safer Placer and Recovery team!

The salary for this role is a SHADS Level 6 (between $102,546.08 to $107,074.24 + super + $15,990 salary packaging) pro rata.

We are seeking a Client Service Administration Coordinator to join our Safer Places and Recovery team on a 12-month fixed term contract, on a part-time (0.8,0.9) or full-time basis.

This position is responsible for overseeing the Client Service Administrator staff who provide daily administrative support to the Integrated Family Violence programs at GenWest.

This role is also responsible for acting as a senior Client Services Administrator and all related responsibilities, including a range of administrative tasks. This directly supports the Integrated Family Violence Services across GenWest to provide support to victim survivors including children experiencing family violence.

Reporting to the Manager – System Enablers, the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working with the Manager to undertake recruitment, workload management, retention, and performance reviews of the CSA team.
  • Preparing and maintaining appropriate, accurate, and confidential client records on the SHIP database, assisting teams with client referrals to motel bookings, following up documents to complete housing applications, flexible support packages (and any other paperwork as required.
  • Management of Material aid, placing orders and collecting items from certain services ie: St. Kilda's mums, WERN.
  • Supervising, leading and developing a team of 5 direct reports, including allocation and monitoring of workload.
  • Contributing to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that reflect and guide the objectives and operations of GenWest in line with current best practice guidance, relevant legislation and professional responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working within a leadership/management role within community services setting
  • A minimum Certificate IV in Community Services or working towards tertiary qualification in a related discipline (i.e. social work, or psychology)
  • Understanding of family violence and related areas (for example, child protection, AOD, mental health, and homelessness)
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Desired qualities also include:

  • Knowledge of SHIP database
  • Experience in a government or not-for-profit setting
