Administration Officer - Family Violence - The Orange Door

We are seeking an admin wiz to step into our full-time new Administration Officer role! The salary for this role is a SCHADS Level 3 ($71,128.72 to $76,272.04) + 11% superannuation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Orange Door (TOD) is a network of Support and Safety Hubs across Victoria, that provide a way for women, children and young people experiencing family violence to access the services they need to be safe and supported. Working within an integrated and consolidated model alongside Child FIRST, VACCA, VACSAL, Western Health (Djerriwarrh) and community-based Child Protection, GenWest is the specialist family violence service.

As the Administration Officer, you’ll provide support to the Specialist Family Violence Practitioners, Senior Practitioners and GenWest Hub leadership within The Orange Door (TOD) hub. In the role you will be required to work between the GenWest Footscray office and Werribee, The Orange Door location.

You will:

  • Assist with the administration of CRM system recording, including brokerage applications, associated registers, referrals, data collection, spreadsheets, and screenings.
  • Coordinate with GenWest staff meetings regarding meetings and logistics.
  • Assist with the coordination of crisis accommodation for victim survivors, including liaising with accommodation providers regarding vacancies and invoice processing.
  • Provide administrative support with referrals for Family Violence Case Management.
  • Assist with the administration of the L17 portal.
  • Coordinate referrals and correspondence between the GenWest TOD team, Case Management, Entry Point and Crisis Response teams.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of GenWest vehicle bookings at TOD.

You will have a proactive nature, enjoy working collaboratively and has exceptional organisational skills to effectively manage competing priorities. Experience working in family violence, or a related field is highly desirable.
