Reporting to Head of Commercial and Philanthropy, the Senior Relationships Manager will implement a comprehensive and strategic growth strategy for short-term and multi-year partnerships with both corporate partners and major donors. This newly created role will focus on win-win relationships that are strategically aligned to Smiling Mind’s brand, values and cause to ignite innovation and investment to advance strategy, mission and programs.

You will drive robust business development strategies across commercial and philanthropic partnerships, as well as complete oversight of the major donor program. A key focus will be on acquisition of new corporate partners through prospect identification, cultivating and soliciting prospects, developing and presenting proposals, relationship building and driving engagement strategies to generate income. Management of diverse stakeholder relationships and multiple projects will be essential to meet partnership objectives, exceed revenue targets and deliver thriving impact.

ABOUT YOU:

• Proven experience in designing and delivering a successful partnerships strategy, plus ability to deliver results in a fast paced and customer centric environment.
• Ability to build, manage and maximise a business development pipeline
• Effective communication is essential, along with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and drive partnerships with clarity, solutions and outcomes
• Strategic and creative thinking, commercial acumen and attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
• People leadership and ability to build a high-performing team
• Sound communication skills, plus ability to prepare and present compelling proposals
• Commitment to Smiling Minds mission to provide accessible, life-long tools to support healthy minds
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or fundraising is desirable.
