The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer and one of an elite group of hospitals worldwide to have its own integrated cancer research program and laboratories. At Peter Mac, they aim to continuously improve cancer care, research and education across all cancers and for all people affected by cancer: changing lives, breaking new ground. The Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation is the fundraising arm of Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Fundraising plays a crucial role in advancing cancer research at Peter Mac with funds raised accelerating the search for cancer cures.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, the Philanthropy Manager will maximise the Foundation’s philanthropic revenue through major gifts. This role will be responsible for developing and executing tactics to research, as well as cultivating and stewarding an expansive portfolio of major gift donors. Your wealth of experience within prospecting and relationship management will effectively maximise the giving of both existing and prospective donors, whilst maintaining strong prospect pipelines and new business opportunities.

This position offers the exciting opportunity to work closely with the Foundation Board’s Philanthropy Committee and other key stakeholders within the cancer research and treatment space as you provide strategic, tactical and administrative support and guidance.
Peter Mac offers its employees salary packaging, 5 weeks annual leave, flexible work practices, an Employee Assistance Program, training and development programs, and a central city location in award-winning facilities.
