The Role

The Head of Philanthropic Partnerships will lead and manage corporate partnerships and trusts & foundations; as well as bespoke requests and business development. This involves cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with partners to support the organisation's goals, driving initiatives to secure new partners and expand upon existing relationships. Furthermore, this role is responsible for meeting financial and non-financial targets based on established KPI’s, conducting market research to uncover new partnership opportunities, and leveraging data and analytics to monitor and report on donor engagement and fundraising outcomes.

Modelling effective leadership, this position will lead, grow and support a team of partnership managers to achieve strategic objectives.

About YOU

  • A seasoned fundraising professional with a depth of experience in leading and driving growth of a corporate partnerships and / or trusts and foundations portfolio
  • Experience in leading, mentoring and empowering a diverse, high-performing team of fundraising professionals
  • Experience in developing and implementing moves management approaches, along with strong stewardship and relationship building skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to work with senior management and decision makers
  • Ability to create and implement long term fundraising strategies
  • Knowledge of learning principles and modern training techniques
  • Strong financial acumen, together with understanding of data insights and analytics
  • Growth mindset, results driven and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, CFRE or membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia is highly regarded.
