World Vision Australia is dedicated to helping vulnerable children and adults lead full lives. As Australia’s largest international non-government organisation, it works with vulnerable communities at the grassroots level, empowering them with knowledge, skills and resources to work their way out of poverty.
The Head of Individual Philanthropy will lead and manage the individual philanthropy program, focusing on creating and executing strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors. This includes providing innovative leadership, management, support and strategic direction to the Individual Philanthropy Team in identifying and creating opportunities with existing and new donors.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with major donors through personalised engagement and meaningful recognition. Another key focus is engaging donors in conversations around planned giving to secure long-term financial support. The position also involves working collaboratively across departments and using data and analytics to monitor donor engagement and evaluate fundraising performance.
World Vision is a Christian organisation that empowers everyday Australians to create meaningful change for children through relief, development and advocacy work. It offers great benefits such as salary packaging, birthday leave, flexible working arrangements, free on-site parking and an on-site café for their employees.
World Vision Australia embraces diversity, employing people from a range of cultural and religious backgrounds. It takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously and is committed to providing a safe environment for children and adults. Stringent recruitment procedures ensure only the most suitable people work directly with children in programs. All successful candidates must undergo pre-employment checks, including a criminal record check. Staff and volunteers receive ongoing supervision, support and training in their work with vulnerable children and their families. World Vision Australia participates in the Inter-Agency Scheme for the Disclosure of Safeguarding-related Misconduct in Recruitment Processes within the Humanitarian and Development Sector.
APPLY NOW if you are a strategic, motivated and purpose driven philanthropy leader who is passionate about helping vulnerable children and adults lead full lives.
