Working collaboratively with LVE’s Board Directors, Executive, Stakeholders and Partners, the CEO will lead the next chapter of LVE’s evolution of growth.

As CEO, you will have oversight of LVE’s service delivery and operations, plus risk, compliance, quality, governance and commercial aspects, and provide visionary leadership to the team of 110. You will lead, develop and manage the organisation to achieve high performance and foster a strong values-based culture, as well as advocating for positive change and greater employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

About YOU

• 10+ years’ experience in senior leadership, preferably within the Community/Not for Profit sector
• Exemplary strategic, financial, operational and people management skills
• Significant understanding of, and commitment to, people with a disability and the Values and Purpose of LVE
• An understanding of the political environment and current issues affecting the disability system and the disability employment sector (including NDIS)
• Experience in building & executing B2B growth strategies with government and private clients
• Extensive experience in leading and building safety first cultures
• Experience in working with a Board, including ensuring effective communication and governance
• Demonstrated history of analysing data, trends and information, identifying risk, opportunities and issues for the organisation, and evidence of using the information to drive system and organisational changes, to achieve its goals and objectives
• Evidence of highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and consultative skills with experience in developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships
• Financial and commercial acumen with extensive experience in the preparation of budgets, business plans and funding submissions
• Master’s levels qualifications in management, business, finance or related fields, desired
