About the role

Good Cycles is looking to expand our service offering. The Project Management role will support the development and execution of a selection of products/services that both complement our existing business activities and expand our social impact.

Working closely with the CEO and management team, the role will be to assess and project plan ideas and then build and implement services/products to specific markets. These include expansion of business scope, trial projects, as well as tender for existing market/grant opportunities.

Responsibilities

  1. Undertake research to provide support for business development.
  2. Through research, make delivery on any intelligence that will have strong impact on proposition development for new investment projects in the enterprise
  3. Develop good knowledge regarding mobility sectors such as market routes and trends; this enables the organisation improve on its effectiveness in service delivery.
  4. Manage end-to end project/product development and execution with support the management team.
  5. Develop proposals for funding/grant/investment opportunities.
  6. Contribute to the management of the organization’s systems to ensure clarity and accountability at all times.
  7. Support business development and sales opportunities when required.
  8. Cooperate in positive manner to the growth of the organisation by providing required assistance to relevant staff and organisation’s partners.

Personal Requirements

  1. Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  2. Flexibility and adaptability across a range of work requirements.
  3. Be able to work at high efficiency in a small team.
  4. Have excellent communication and negotiation skills both with other staff, management, customers and participants.
  5. Proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  6. Financial and operational modelling skills.
  7. Ability to carry out quantitative and qualitative research and collate the information derived from such research towards improving the organisation’s business opportunities.
  8. Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
  9. Critical thinking and problem solving.
  10. Excellent attention to detail.
  11. Ability to beat deadlines and to manage/prioritise competing tasks in conjunction with the management team
  12. Genuine self starter with strong stakeholder management skills
  13. A commitment to helping people who have been experiencing disadvantage
