About Green Collect:

Green Collect is a not-for-profit social enterprise that works for sustainable environmental and social change. Green Collect’s retail stores, located at Yarraville and Braybrook, promote sustainable purchasing through stocking recycled, environmentally friendly, fair and local products including Green Collect’s own range of Upcycled Products.

The role involves:

• Providing high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Utilising point-of-sale processes and safe cash-handling procedures
• Accurately and enthusiastically sharing product features and benefits
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Stock handling including preparation of tags and packing
• Preparing stock including steaming of clothes and cleaning of items
• Managing Change room and customer engagement

To be successful, you will bring:

• Reliability and flexibility (weekend availability essential)
• Proven sales skills and experience, with high-level customer service in a retail environment
• Strong knowledge of labels, ethical products and current environmental issues
• Ability to give direction to shift support staff as required (ie inventory management, stocktake etc)
• Excellent organisational, communication and written skills
• Passion, maturity and initiative to our retail environments
• Your best team player attributes along with the ability to work autonomously
