Gateways Support Services has been making a positive difference to children, adolescents and adults with autism, intellectual disability and complex needs across Western Melbourne, Geelong and the South-West for over 20 years. With a workforce in excess of 750, Gateways is embarking on a strategy that will see greater investment in our people and in the range and diversity of services and supports provided to our families. Due to a restructure, a key service delivery role has become available, one that will drive the future of Gateways in the Geelong region. We’re seeking an ambitious leader to join Gateways in a newly created role as Corporate Services Manager. You will ensure a high quality service and cost effectiveness in the timely delivery of all Corporate Services to all parts of the organisation. This includes leading Procurement, Legal, ICT, Insurance, Fleet and Property (these may vary from time to time as requirements change).

Whilst building capability to enable the organisation to respond quickly to stakeholder requirements, you will also demonstrate a high degree of analytical, and problem solving skills and excellent commercial acumen.

You will need a strong knowledge of legal and operational risks in a human services environment, project management experience and experience in driving business transformation through smart use of technology. Prior experience leading a multidisciplinary team is also highly desirable.

You will be required to apply for an NDIS Worker Screening Check. This check includes a national criminal records check, and will cost you $119.40. The check is valid for 5 years.

Successful applicants will be required to supply a current Working with Children check for an employee, a current Level 2 first aid qualification and CPR update. If you have lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months in the last 10 years, you will be required to supply an international police check from the country where you lived. Employment cannot commence until this check is received and assessed.

Shortlisted applicants will also be required to undertake the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission online Worker Orientation training module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’ prior to attending induction. This is a pre-employment requirement and if not completed, employment will not proceed.
