The role:

We are seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to join us and improve our community involvement through volunteer and student placement programs, community events, and fundraising initiatives. Reporting to the Events & Fundraising Manager, you will be an effective team player with the ability to build rapport with diverse members of the community. Key responsibilities will include assisting with sponsorship and grant proposals, assisting in planning and coordinating events and overseeing the recruitment, onboarding and rostering of our student placements and volunteers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• A level of community engagement experience
• Strong administration and organisation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making ability

To be eligible for this role, you will need to present:

• NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance
• NDIS Workers Orientation Module (certificate of completion)
• Working with Children Check (Victorian, Employee)
• Victorian Driver's License
