This is an initial 12-month contract, with the intention to grow the role and extend the position beyond the first year.

About This Opportunity

This is your chance to take ownership of a broad and meaningful role in a small, passionate team.

As Marketing & Fundraising Coordinator, you’ll lead Future2’s storytelling, brand presence and supporter growth. You’ll work across social media, fundraising campaigns, digital content and donor engagement - with the flexibility to shape the role and bring your creativity and ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Lead paid, earned and owned media activity to ensure a consistent, creative brand presence across all channels.
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy that grows our community and deepens engagement.
  • Create engaging content and collateral - from social posts and email campaigns to flyers, reports, presentations and more.
  • Work with partners, sponsors and supporters to amplify our message and extend reach.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to increase Future2’s visibility within the financial services sector and beyond.
  • Maintain and update the Future2 website to ensure content is current, relevant and engaging (in collaboration with our web developer as needed).

Fundraising Coordination

  • Support delivery of core fundraising initiatives, including events, peer-to-peer campaigns and regular giving.
  • Strengthen donor communications and stewardship to boost engagement and grow the Regular Giving program.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new fundraising initiatives and ideas.

About You

We’re looking for a driven communicator with a flair for storytelling and a heart for purpose. You bring both creativity and structure to your work, and you’re excited by the opportunity to help grow a national foundation from the inside out.

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in marketing, communications or fundraising (preferred)
  • Exceptional written communication skills and an eye for compelling content
  • Experience across digital marketing and social media channels
  • A self-starter who works independently and takes initiative
  • Familiarity with CRMs, Canva and WordPress (preferred)
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Fundraising experience is a bonus, but not essential
