Who is Fruit2work?

Fruit2Work (F2W) exist to create chances for those impacted by the justice system, providing meaningful transitional employment opportunities to allow them to reintegrate with society as returning citizens. F2W does this by providing a service delivering fruit, milk & pantry items to the workplace.

In addition, F2W also runs a vending business which primarily services the construction and infrastructure sectors and are expanding their social enterprise with the addition of a new organisation called Recycle4Change (R4C). R4C will operate 2 automated container deposit depots located at Point Cook and Geelong North, opening on 1 Nov 2023.

Role Purpose

An all rounder to assist with leading a team of administration staff across the business including customer service, accounts receivable and payable and stock management, providing outstanding customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders, attending to customer queries and keeping customers satisfied.
• Invoicing and Bank reconciliation.
• Debt collection.
• Managing supplier invoices in Xero including supplier pay runs.
• Maintaining relationship with both suppliers and customers.
• Stock management.
• Assisting with management of Admin Team and ad hoc administration.

Experience

• A genuine passion for customer experience.
• Worked within a team environment and team management/oversight.
• Ability to prioritise and pivot from one task to another as needed.
• Capacity to work in a busy and diverse office environment.
• Organised and able to meet deadlines.
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role or industry.

Skills

• To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers.
• Effective communication skills with a proficiency in English.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Accounts software experience – preferably Xero.
• Familiar with Order Management Systems (OMS).
