Friend Line Supervisor

Friends for Good

Friends for Good is an Australian loneliness pioneer. We were the first organisation to work solely on the issue of loneliness. We provide direct services, undertake research and hold community education activities. We partner with a broad range of individuals and groups and chair the Friendship Alliance, a national group working together on the issues of social isolation and loneliness.

Having received a grant from the Australian Government for Friend Line for Seniors, we are looking for highly skilled and passionate staff to help us expand our Friend Line service nationally.

We have 2 casual positions available for Friend Line Supervisors. We require people with experience working in the community sector, a passion for making a difference in people's lives and the ability to directly supervise a large team of volunteers. This includes the provision of individual debriefing.

FriendLine operates 10am-8pm (AEST) 7 days per week. The casual positions cover periods of staff leave and will be based in Melbourne.

A position description is attached.
