We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced sales and events professional to join our dynamic team at Free to Feed as Catering & Events Sales Coordinator in the Catering, Events & Partnerships team.
As Catering & Events Sales Coordinator you will be the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries and requests for catering & events. You will work to meet organisational KPI’s & work closely with the events & kitchen teams to deliver end to end customer & event stakeholder experiences. You will be detail oriented, self-motivated and will oversee the sales of beautiful and impactful experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for all organisational enquiries and requests for Catering/Workshops & Events
- Manage all customer enquiries regarding workshops, bespoke event and catering, understanding all requirements, quoting, contracting and logistics from customer service to delivery whilst ensuring an excellent customer experience
- Manage and update the online booking system and internal booking management systems
- Liaising with team to anticipate the needs of customers/event patrons so that their Free to Feed experience exceeds their expectations
- Monitor and track the sales targets and report to your Manager on a fortnightly basis
- Work alongside the catering & events team and all other relevant departments including kitchen, participant program and partnerships
- Brief and support the event management team in their process by planning as required
- Attend and actively contribute toward weekly event planning meetings
- Determine new strategies to follow up warm leads and develop existing relationships from one off or occasional interactions into repeated and regular connections, including event follow up
- Assist with Free to Feed’s expansion into the catering market working closely with Free to Feed’s events team to drive growth in catering and bespoke events
- The successful applicant will be responsible for driving revenue, managing the companies calendar and events schedule, putting together event orders, quotes and contracts and managing services with our wonderful crew
