ArtLife Engagement Workers support d/Deaf and/or disabled artists in their engagement with and participation in the Artlife Studio program. They support participation in all the Studio’s experiences on offer, including skills development workshops, excursions, development of new works, and public presentations. Reporting to the Artlife Program Manager and working closely with Facilitating Artists, the Artlife Engagement Worker helps shape an environment that removes barriers to participation and where each individual is supported to realise their goals.

The Artlife Engagement Worker supports artist participants with their support and access needs within the scope of the Artlife Program, a registered NDIS service provider. This includes supporting participants with communication, implementing support plans and providing positive emotional and behavioural management support, encouraging and supporting participants to reach their artistic goals, and recognising and appropriately escalating any challenges or incidents arising, working with families/support circles and the Artlife Engagement Coordinator.
