Fitzroy Neighbourhood House (FNH) (Fitzroy Learning Network) is a Learn Local RTO in Fitzroy. We are looking for a casual EAL teacher to teach our 22637VIC Course in EAL Class on a Monday. We are looking for a someone with a passion for teaching students with little to no literacy in both English and their first language.
Both experienced teachers and graduates are encouraged to apply.
This is a core teaching position in a low level class for English learners. Students in this class have limited literacy in both English and their first language.
This position requires a patient, caring educator, with a passion for assisting those at the very beginning of their English language learning journey.
You will be delivering accredited EAL programs to culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) adult learners, ensuring high-quality teaching, compliance with regulatory frameworks, and a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Fitzroy Learning Network Inc. (FLN) is a not-for-profit organisation, affiliated Community Neighbourhood House Learning Centre and Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Since the mid-1980s FLN has provided a variety of highly regarded and valued programs and services to the community with a particular focus on newly arrived migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and young people.
These programs and services range from English language programs to teaching sewing skills, computer skills and business leadership.
The position is based on the employment conditions set out in the Educational Services (post-Secondary Education) Award 2010.
The position is part-time and is paid in accordance with qualifications and experience, as negotiated, according to the Teachers and Tutors/Instructors salary provisions in the award.
