The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Specialist to join The Flagstaff Group and play a pivotal role in delivering our strategic growth objectives. Working closely with the Senior Manager, Safety and Operations, you will lead business development initiatives across our Paper to Paper and Group Services divisions, identifying new opportunities, strengthening client partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded professional who is passionate about creating meaningful business outcomes while supporting an organization that empowers people with disability to achieve their goals. You will have the opportunity to influence strategic direction, expand market presence, and contribute to the continued growth and success of a respected social enterprise.

The Ideal Candidate

You are a proactive and results-driven business development professional with a proven ability to identify opportunities, build strong client relationships, and deliver commercial outcomes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels, from frontline teams to executive leadership.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related field.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills, with the ability to develop long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial agreements, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including experience preparing executive-level reports and market insights.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement, customer service excellence, and organizational values.
