Are you an experienced campaigner, communications specialist, or media expert wanting to help make history?

The First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria is looking for a full-time Senior Media and Campaigns Advisor to generate and manage media coverage and help build public and political support for the journey to Treaty in Victoria.

Our fast-paced comms team seeks to build awareness and support for the Assembly and Treaty using strength-based messages and accessible and engaging content. We support a range of teams within the organisation and manage a number of bold and exciting projects.

Assisting the team to support the Assembly Co-chairs and Members with frequent media requests, this role needs a quick and nimble campaigner with good political nous and excellent communication skills. As we move towards the next phase of the journey to Treaty, we also want someone with experience in digital campaigning to help build an ally support base.

The role is a full-time 12-month contract.

The salary is from $105,479 depending on experience plus super and salary packaging.
