About the role

The role of FOH Supervisor is the provision of excellent customer service and team leadership in the Catering department. As an experienced supervisor you will report to the Front of House Manager and ensure the highest standards of quality, customer service and safety for your guests. You will also have a strong alignment with the ethos and identity of The Tops.

This role requires a leader who wants to work alongside their people, not direct from a distance. If you are very hands-on and active when it comes to leading staff and providing an outstanding food service, we want to hear from you!

About the responsibilities

  • Deliver an excellent food experience to our diverse range of customers;
  • As part of a team, drive continuous improvement in customer service and experience;
  • Provide work directives and leadership for Catering employees;
  • Facilitate the delivery of all specific dietary requirements, within operational parameters, whether they be allergies, intolerances, lifestyle choices or cultural requirements;
  • Ensure statutory responsibilities are met and effectively liaise with regulatory organisations, food and health professionals as required;
  • Work effectively to assist Management in meeting budget requirements

About you

We are interested in hearing from you if you have:

  • Possess a Hospitality and/or related qualification;
  • Skills and experience in leading teams to meet organisational requirements;
  • Time management skills and the demonstrated ability to lead and work as part of a team under pressure in a highly time bound environment;
  • Competency with Information Communication technologies and Microsoft Office suite applications such as Word and Excel;
  • High level of written and verbal communication to effectively engage with stakeholders and employees of all levels of the organisation;
  • Ability to travel to the work location and be punctual for shifts;
  • Ability to work required shifts with reasonable flexibility regarding working hours
