Foodbank NSW & ACT

ABOUT FOODBANK

Foodbank is Australia’s largest and most trusted food relief charity. We are the pantry to the charity sector and believe everyone should have access to good quality food. We’re here for the everyday Australians who are going without. And it’s our job to help change that.

Foodbank NSW & ACT is a not-for-profit, non-denominational, federated organisation operating in every state and territory in Australia. Food insecurity is a growing problem, requiring a huge coordinated response.

At Foodbank NSW & ACT we work with over 1,000 charities and schools across NSW and the ACT.

Foodbank NSW & ACT has been fighting hunger since 1992. Each month we provided 186,877 people across our state and territory with food and grocery assistance. We are a non-denominational, not-for-profit organisation that bridges the gap between the food and grocery industry’s surplus items and those going without food. Our employees and volunteers are determined to end hunger.
